While the song is a bit old, stateside wise anyway, WORK is hitting the UK SINGLES Chart hard--currently at number four on that countdown. And this sucess couldn't come at a better time for Rowland...the re-release of MS. KELLY with a few new tracks and remixes is in the works. Finally some new music from America's most culturally-diverse rock band. NERD's last album, FLY OR DIE proved to become one of my favorite of all time. I was very excited to see new music from them in 2008. EVERYONE NOSE is pretty hott...pretty different from what I was expecting but its cool. ASHLEE SIMPSON's new single OUTTA MY HEAD is off the chain. Despite the early leak of MURDER (which sounded like poop) ASHLEE actually has a hit on her hands. Of course, she grabbed TIMBO to do production on this but it doesnt sound like typical Timbaland--its heavily rock and techno influenced. Here's the Radio Edit of the song.

December's Lost Songs


Each month I plan on displaying 3 Lost tracks from artists that not many have heard...this months tracks are from STATIC of PLAYA f. AALIYAH, MYA & GWEN STEFANI.
STATIC of PLAYA f. AALIYAH - I AM MUSIC (prod. by Timbaland)
The first, I AM MUSIC, features the sexy AALIYAH at the song's end. I almost forgot how much I loved Aaliyah when I heard this one! The song sonunds as if it could be released today.
***(EDIT March 2008)WOW. I am shocked now that STATIC was just found dead in his Kentucky home. That is very strange and sad that this happened.***
MYA - SERIOUS (Prod. By Akon)
MYA's SERIOUS is another unreleased track from LIBERATION. Frankly, it sounds better than alot of the others...
GWEN STEFANI - CANDYLAND (Prod. by the Neptunes)
CANDYLAND is not HQ, but the beat is close. I can see why this one is unreleased. Anyway, have a listen.

Damn. T-Pain done done it again. SUPA SEXY is the new single from CHARLIE WILSON's (SIGNS, BEAUTIFUL by Snoop Dogg) new album RISE MR. WILSON. This song don't sound like a T-Pain joint...he really is rapidly changing his sound--it's more upbeat, poppy and Neptunes-sounding. This song is actually HOT.

Mya - "Smoke & Mirrors" Songs


WOW...Mya seems to have dropped all plans for releasing LIBERATION as a physical CD. LIBERATION was like Chex Mix to me...a few good things and a whole lot of stuff i didnt want. It just was a lackluster...
Anyway, after that rant, she is currently gearing up for a new release, SMOKE & MIRRORS, in 2008. She also has been shortly posting song by song off of her album on her myspace page. Here are a few songs from the new album (hopefully...:)

Introducing...Francisco - "Gimmie More Part II"

Okay. So GIMMIE MORE is still being played all around the country at every club and top forty station. I love that damn song. FRANCISCO, an up and coming American artist recently remixed the song with his own lyrics/vocals and its HOT AS HELL! It made me love the song even more. Listen for yourself.

Britney Spears - "Piece of Me" (New Single) + Bonus Tracks


I donno bout this album art, but, PIECE OF ME is Britney's newest single from her new album BLACKOUT. The song is a perfect choice to me--it correctly explains how Britney feels about the industry dominating her image. Its also produced by BLOODSHY & AVANT, being her 5th single from them. Check it out, along with some bonus HQ tracks left off the album.
